About the role
As a Software Developer at UrbanLink Networks, you will build internal applications, automation tools, and user-facing dashboards that connect field operations to cloud processing. You will work across the stack—from UI and APIs to integration with GIS and data services.
What you'll do
- Develop web applications and microservices supporting data capture, validation, and reporting workflows
- Implement integrations with GIS platforms, spatial APIs, and infrastructure data stores
- Build automation scripts and scheduled jobs that reduce manual handoffs for program teams
- Write clean, tested code with attention to security, performance, and maintainability
- Collaborate in code reviews and iterative delivery with systems engineers and analysts
What we're looking for
- 2+ years professional software development experience
- Proficiency in at least one modern language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar)
- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases
- Comfort with Git, code review, and incremental deployment practices
- Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent portfolio of shipped work
Nice to have
- React, Vue, or similar front-end framework experience
- Mapping libraries or GIS SDK familiarity
- Cloud functions, serverless, or containerized deployment experience
